What the city bulky-waste program covers
The City of Broken Arrow says its bulky-waste pickup is for items too large for the standard refuse cart, including examples such as appliances, furniture and green waste. The city currently states a fee of $20 per cubic yard, with a two-cubic-yard minimum and an eight-cubic-yard maximum.

Scheduling and exclusions matter
The city notes that bulky pickup can be scheduled as far as roughly two weeks out when demand is high. It also excludes hazardous materials and several other categories such as tires, TVs, monitors, microwaves, concrete and dirt.
When a roll-off may make more sense
A dumpster can be a stronger fit when the project is larger, produces debris over multiple days, involves renovation or construction material, or benefits from having one container on site. Call to discuss the project rather than assuming either option is always cheaper or better.
